VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

EAGLE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Eagle County School District. 

 

To become a volunteer, you must complete two required steps:

• Complete the online volunteer application
• Complete fingerprinting and pass a background check
  Once your application is approved and your background check is cleared, the school coordinator for the school you selected will contact you with next steps.

 

Step 1: Complete the Online Volunteer Application

Complete the online application to begin the volunteer process by clicking on "APPLY HERE" box at the top of the job description. 

 

Step 2: Complete Fingerprinting / Background Check

All volunteers must be fingerprinted to help ensure the safety and security of students and staff.

Step 3: Wait for Approval

• Background check results are sent directly to ECSD.
• Once your application and background check are approved, the school coordinator will contact you.

Fingerprinting/ Background Check Information (REQUIRED)

Before any individual may participate in volunteering, employment, internships, field experience, practicum, or other placements, they must successfully complete a background check.

IMPORTANT BILLING INFORMATION: You MUST use the billing code below so ECSD is charged correctly.

• Billing Code: 1417ECSDNonLic
  Fee Details:

  • ECSD will pay the $54.50 CBI/FBI background check fee.
  • You will pay only the $10 vendor fee (paid by credit/debit card).
  • No reimbursements will be issued.
    *If you do NOT use the billing code, you will be charged $54.50 for the CBI/FBI background check fee plus the $10 vendor fee.

Fingerprinting Steps for Colorado Fingerprinting's Website

1. Login or Create and account 
2. Locate an Enrollment Center convenient for you (Copy Plus preferred) and make an appointment. 
3. Enter the billing code: 1417ECSDNonLic
4. Complete the pre-enrollment process by entering the required CBI and FBI information.
5. Attend your 10-minute appointment at the Enrollment Center. A technician will complete
• ID verification
• Fingerprint capture
• Photo capture
• Signature capture
6. Pay the $10 vendor fee by credit/debit card.

Processing Time: Results are returned to ECSD within 3 to 5 business days. If prints are rejected for quality (less than 1%)

• You will be notified by email or phone.
• You will receive an automated link to reschedule at no charge.
